A great day at the Novice meet at Newmarket for Olympium Synchro. Some highlights, 1st in 6 yr old figures Arianna!, 2, 5, 7 in 8 yr figures Jasmine, Lauren, Sarah; 2, 3 in 9 year figures Mei, Isabella; 4th in 10 yr figures Regan. Kiara and Ceilidh were 1st and 2nd in 13-19 intermediate figures. In 11 yr figures Stephanie was 4th and Genevieve was 6th. Sarah and Jasmine rocked their split testing both getting gold standard and many of our swimmers received silver or bronze. Congrats everyone on an amazing meet! Your coaches are very proud! OSSC Success at Trilliums

Congratulations to all our young athletes who competed at Trilliums in London on June 9th and 10th. Our 10&U team had the best swim of their season and placed 4th, well done to Kate, Marissa, Claire, Kirstyn and Isabella! In 10&U solo Marissa rocked Rockin Robin and placed 10th in a field of 38 swimmers! Our 10&U duets had great swims with Kate and Kirstyn placing11th and Marissa and Isabella placing 12th. Our trio Roxanna, Sarah and Francesca finished their competitive season with a strong swim and placed 16th.
In 12&U OSSC once again had top six finishes with our 12&U team of Bianca, Rachel, Andrea, Alisa and Evelyn placing 5th in a very competitive field of 18 teams. 12&U duet Nora and Hannah showed again that ‘big girls don’t cry’ and placed 4th in duet. They also had excellent figure results with Hannah placing 7th and Nora placing 10th. New duet partners Rachel and Bianca placed 13th with their routine which they started learning five weeks ago! Very impressive. In 12&U solo Evelyn placed 18th, Alisa 19th and Andrea 27th out of a field of 35 swimmers. What a great way to end a very successful season!

The 13-15 team competed at Espoirs from May 23rd-May 27th. Some highlights of the meet include Natalie placing 16 and Jordan placing 23 in figures.
Our 13-15 team qualified for finals placing 9th in prelims out of a field of 30 and performed well at finals placing 9th overall.
Other results include Natalie 13th and Aerin 16 in solo prelims and the duet of Natalie and Jordan placed 12th in prelims. Well done ladies!

12&U Success at Espoirs

Our 12&U High Performance swimmers took part in the first 12&U events at Espoirs as part of a Synchro Canada Pilot. Congratulations to Nora for placing 7th and Hannah for placing 16th in figures. Nora and Hannah also took the silver in 12&U duet! Our 12&U team, Bianca, Rachel, Andrea, Alisa and Evelyn placed 4th in team. Well done ladies!
Provincial Swimmers success at Age Groups!!

The OSSC had three top six finishes at Age Groups last weekend. Huge congratulations to 10&Us Kate, Marissa, Claire, Isabella and Kirstyn coached by Andrea for their amazing swim and placing 6th in routine.
12&U team Rachel, Bianca, Andrea, Alisa and Evelyn had their best routine swim ever and placed 4th in routine and championships at Age Groups. Well done ladies!!
And 12&U duet Nora and Hannah placed 4th in duet and rocked their figures with 6th place for Hannah and 7th for Nora.
Our 13-15 provincial team finished off their first competitive season with a strong swim and thoroughly enjoyed being part of Ontarios biggest synchro meet.
