Olympium Synchro’s Provincial competitive team training offers a comprehensive physical training program focused on enhancing synchro skill development as well as choreography. The team experience promotes the development and value of leadership skills, solid work ethic, passion and heart. Athletes will learn goal-setting skills as well as self-evaluation and self-awareness. These athletes compete at the provincial level. During the month of September all competitive athletes are assessed and the teams are finalized. The competitive season begins right after the September long weekend and continues until June.
10 & Under Pre-Competitive
The team focuses on basic skills and building endurance in the pool. It’s goal is to foster an environment of team building while nurturing a love of sport and introducing the swimmers to competition. It is perfect for young girls who love swimming.
10 & Under Team
This team focuses on perfecting basic skills and introducing more complicated skills. This program is designed to introduce new families and athletes into the provincial level of the competitive stream. Athletes who have previous competitive experience or are very strong swimmers will thrive in this environment. Swimmers may be considered for solos and duets.
12 & Under
This team is focuses on learning to train. The athletes will be introduced to an enhanced training program developed by our coaches to be developmentally appropriate while encouraging a greater dedication to sport and training. Athletes on this team will be considered for extra routines.
13-15 Provincial
This team is for the teen athlete who wants to continue her competitive experience. The program focuses on developing skills in a while encouraging a positive attitude towards sport and engaging a love for an active lifestyle. The athletes will be introduced to an engaging training program developed by our coaches. Athletes on this team will be considered for extra routines.
AWD
This program is designed to meet the individual needs of our AWD athletes. Athletes will be integrated with one of our other teams for training and will develop a solo or duet. Placement is based on synchro experience and skill development.
