2020 Recreational Programs

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we are unable to start our recreational programming in the fall. We are hoping to launch our programming by winter time. The information below provides details of each of the three different classes we offer and examples of what time/locations we have been able to offer programming in the past.

Aqua Squirts!

For children in SK – Grade 1

Olympium Synchro’s Aqua Squirts is a program designed for young swimmers interested in experiencing the exciting sport of Synchronized Swimming. Participants are introduced to fundamental skills, basic figures and various routine components, in addition to other disciplines aimed at improving strength, coordination and flexibility. The one hour class is made up of dry land and water time to give the participants a true taste of the sport. Athletes will have the opportunity to learn a routine, and be part of our Holiday Water Show in December and/or Spring Water Show in May.

We are pleased to offer fall, winter and spring programming for our Aqua Squirts program, as well as a full year option. If your son or daughter is able to jump into the deep end with an instructor, get their face wet and willing to try new things, Aqua Squirts is perfect for them!

Equipment required: bathing cap (provided at first class), one piece bathing suit, goggles, nose plug and a towel or yoga mat for stretching.

In the event of a cancelled class (due to weather, facility closure, etc.), we will make every effort possible to schedule a make-up class.
